What is one idea, suggestion, or approach from a group member that improved your paragraph or changed the way you thought about the argument? (Sep. 8th)

One thing my group and I did was let every member say their thoughts on our topic, and then collectively come to an agreement after discussing potential ways to write our response. We let everyone have a fair say in our discussion and equal amounts of time to talk, and did not ignore or argue with anyone. Instead, we built on each other's ideas and went from there. I think by thoroughly communicating with each other, we were able to come to a satisfying conclusion we all agreed with.

Summary: Today in class, we did vocabulary work in our notebooks. We took notes of the terms, their definitions, functions, and worked out practice problems.

Reflection: I think if we were to use more of the vocabulary words we learn in class, our argument paragraphs could become stronger. It would also make good practice, as we would be using class terms in the real world.
